Good for Hair, Skin and Immunity

Nutritional yeast supports the immune system and reduces inflammation.

Our organic nutritional yeast flakes are also a great plant-based source of protein. Protein is an essential nutrient that aids tissue repair and prevents muscle loss. Along with the complex vitamin B, it can help supply your hair with the protein it needs to be strong. The niacin in nutritional yeast can help your skin by reducing acne. It can also reduce signs of aging and improve skin elasticity.

Looks Great, Tastes Great!

Our nutritional yeast is light beige in color, with great texture. It has a mild, savory, toasted taste which increases the umami notes in your meals. It is a healthier, more nutritional alternative to cheese that highlights the cheesy, nutty, umami tastes in your meals.
Our nutritional yeast is non-fortified, which means we have not added any synthetic vitamins that are not naturally occurring in nutritional yeast. That is why it may have a little less flavor and it does not contain B12, which is added to fortified yeast flakes artificially.

Suitable for Vegans!

It is grown and processed from non-GMO primary yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and is totally vegan friendly!

It is high in B vitamins and folate, making it an important resource for people who follow plant-based diet. Nooch (that’s what loving fans call it in the vegan community) makes a great, cheesy-tasting topping for pastas, salads, cooked veggies, baked goods, and smoothies.

All the Good Nutrients in One Ingredient!

Our organic yeast flakes contain no artificial vitamins or minerals. Just organic nutritional yeast and nothing else!

It is rich in B complex vitamins, minerals, and fiber, which are essential for good health and a strong immune.

Containing 9 essential amino acids, it is a good daily staple in your diet.

Nutritional yeast is packed with a variety of minerals that help maintain the health of your hair, skin, and nails.

Nutritional Yeast is not the Same as Baking Yeast

Organic nutritional yeast derives from a species of yeast known as Saccharomyces cerevisiae. There are 3 different types of yeast: baker’s, brewer’s and nutritional. Each are made from the same species of yeast, but are definitely not the same.

  • Nutritional yeast is grown specially as a food product. The yeast cells are not alive in the final product but killed during manufacturing.
  • Baker’s yeast is used alive to leaven bread. The yeast cells are killed during cooking.
  • Brewer’s yeast is used alive to brew beer.

Do you know the difference between fortified and non-fortified yeast?

Nutritional yeast is divided into two categories: fortified and non-fortified.

Non-fortified yeast contains only the vitamins and minerals naturally grown by yeast cells. It is a 100% whole food and naturally nutritious!

Fortified yeast is the most common kind available. It contains artificially added synthetic vitamins and minerals that  boost nutritional content.
Although fortified products may give the impression that “more is more,”  these synthetic vitamins and minerals can cause health complications.

Things to consider before Consuming Nutritional Yeast

  • If you are allergic to yeast and molds, please consult your doctor before consuming nutritional yeast.
  • You should be careful with nutritional yeast intake if you have kidney stones or gout. Nutritional yeast is high in uric acid and it may worsen your condition.
  • Nutritional yeast is packed with fiber and can cause unpleasant digestive problems if it is consumed too quickly and in big quantities
